Chef Craig Richards wowed us at La Tavola Trattoria (he had us at Tomatofest) and continues to charm as executive chef of Ecco (fried goat cheese, honey, and black pepper, anyone?). And it’s no wonder others love him, too—with a culinary pedigree that began with Pachamama’s in Kansas, then training with the “first lady of Italian cuisine,” Lidia Bastianich, and working as executive chef at Lidia’s in Pittsburgh, Richards knows how to deliver fresh, crave-worthy dishes. That’s why we’re oh-so-glad his path led him to Atlanta and Fifth Group Restaurants. Also a devoted cookbook collector, you won’t want to miss Richards’ talents and tips this Saturday when he grills up the perfect spring salad!
